With offices in Chicago and Los Angeles, Series Brand Studio exists to create brands and help those brands grow through exceptional creative. We work alongside our clients as more of an in-house team than a vendor, and help curate the entire brand experience. For one client, that means designing marketing materials, interviewing hall of fame athletes and planning a Super Bowl event. For another, it means creating breakthrough in-store experiences in North America, Europe and Asia, all at once.

I prefer to work with brands that have a story to tell, not just a product to sell. I'm always drawn to a brand with heart 🤍. You know, the underdog and needs to do something big to be disruptive... or the one that has an incredible mission but is terrible at articulating it so no one knows about them...or those that are actually working to make the lives of their consumers and people better—not just saying they are because it looks good to market themselves that way. 

Those are really fun brands to work with because it's really rewarding to put my experience to work for them. It's where I can see my effort as a creator make a difference.

It's hard for me to work on a brand that doesn't have strong core values or a vision beyond making money. Those are the companies I just don't click with because they don't have something authentic to say or believe in.

I wanted to create a studio that brings together the most talented people I've met over the 12+ years in the industry to deliver big ideas and top-tier execution to the businesses with heart.

We found when we work with really rad clients, the ones who believe in what they're doing with purpose, and don't put limits on our creatives, the output is exceptional. Our team gets just as excited as the founders and treat the brand as if it were our own. I think that's what makes Series so cool, we're essentially just an extension of our client's team.

We built Series to prove that great creative doesn't have to be a trade-off between talent and heart. When both are in the room, the work speaks for itself."

"I vividly remember this moment from my childhood where I was waiting in line for the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland. Most kids would've been thinking about the ride itself, but I was more interested in the pre-ride theming, and how every detail and dusty old prop was  carefully chosen to tell a consistent story. I thought to myself, 'I wish that was my job.' 

In a way, that wish came true. Because creating brands is like that. We get to take a company's true essence, develop it into a memorable story and carefully select all the elements that bring it to life. Maybe the target audience won't notice every last detail, but they'll sense the authenticity. And when everything feels harmonious like that, they want to spend time with the brand. And they want to come back.

Ultimately, I think that's what we do at Series. We create stories and we get obsessive about every element of those stories in a way that has a real impact."
